The whole process just showed how unfair the process is for athletes. USADA has it's own rules which they can follow if they want or break if it's in their interest.
Lance probably doped but we'll never know because USADA was more interested in winning than uncovering the truth and exposing everybody.

He should have volunteered for a polygraph. Sorry, but I never once believed for a millisecond that the guy wasn't cheating. Tons of others say he did, tons of others themselves did... I'll tell you one test he failed in my eyes a LONG time ago---the integrity test. After he had "cancer," he started this "charity." That was like 2007. Now he's claiming he started it in 19 97. I wonder how much he makes each year from all that "philanthropy"? LIVESTRONG ha ha. In the beginning I thought no way. But with all the doping going on in cycling I became a little suspicious. However, with all the testing and no positive comebacks how do you strip a guy?? It's kind of like the Bonds case I guess. You get busted on hearsay.

There is no doubt in my mind that Lance Armstrong cheated. (In fact, just about everyone on the podium (top 3 spots) from 1996-2010 have been proven to have cheated at some point in their careers - yea Carlos Sastre in 2008 - winner that hasn't been accused of doping)
That being said, what good does it do to go after Lance now? His last TdF title was in 2005. There were tons of cheaters in baseball in the 1998-2006 time frames. Baseball has essentially moved forward, while everyone acknowledges that the numbers put up by the players during that era should be analyzed in context of the times.
The USADA gets $9 million of Federal Tax money each year...isn't this an easy item to remove from the budget? If the cycling/triathletes/olympics want drug free events, why don't we require them to pay for the testing?
