3.6 is very impressive for the State system. I believe it has gone down, though. I found the make-up of UCSD interesting too. The last time I checked, they had an overage GPA close to 4.1 and in terms of diversity, were 2/3 Asian.
San Diego universities are very tough to get into. No doubt.

My GPA sucked going into SDSU. If I were to send in my application now they would laugh in my face.

My GPA sucked going into SDSU. If I were to send in my application now they would laugh in my face. Me too! And I submitted my application on Nov 3 and was accepted Dec 5!!! But then again all of my AP classes weren't calculated at a higher rate like they are today... |
