UNLV, Fresno St and Denver, and kick out Northridge and Davis.

UNLV, Fresno, or Nevada.
I can not see them going any further east than that. We need to bring one or more of these teams into the Big East for football and the BW for basketball. Too bad UNLV football sucks so bad.

Make a scheduling agreement with New Mexico State and divide Basketball into a 5 team and a 6 team division.
Division A SDSU LBSU UCSB BSU Hawaii New Mexico State (Pseudo member)
Division B Everyone else
Play everyone from your division twice and every other team once for 16 games. That would be ideal for New Mexico State and us. It would also allow for adding a real 12th member when (if) the Big East causes one to appear.
Games against New Mexico State don't count and they are not in the conference tounament.

Denver would be the best choice.. most people would never believe that in the final Sears Cup standings (or whatever they call it now that ranks you w/ all your sports... the one that Stanford always wins), Denver finished ahead of both CU, CSU and Air Force to be the highest school in Colorado.... they are like a mini Stanford (tough as hell to get into and are quite good in all the olympic sports). plus, for selfish reasons... would want a basketball game in Denver every year

Hockey, lacrosse, skiing. They also sponsor swimming & diving and men's soccer. No baseball, softball, cross country or track. I would welcome Denver with open arms. Opens up a large media market and provides the added bonus of encroaching on MW territory.
