With eleven teams, it would make sense for scheduling to have a 12 team league. It would also allow for divisions, allowing teams that want to succeed to play each other, and allowing teams that would rather cut travel costs to stay in LA for the most part.

It was a tough choice between Denver and NMSU, both with decent BBall programs, but I choose Denver because of the larger market and potential. I see NMSU going to CUSA or MWC eventually.

Depends who Big East No. 14 is. I wouldn't doubt that SDSU and Boise are pushing hard for Fresno State.

It would be awesome if they could set the divisions based on the previous year RPIs.
Meaning the 6 best teams would play each other twice, and only have to play the crappy teams once.
Example:
Div. A (Avg RPI 100) San Diego St. Long Beach St. Denver UC Santa Barbara Cal St. Fullerton Boise St.
Div. B (Avg. RPI 265) Hawaii Cal Poly UC Riverside UC Irvine Cal St. Northridge UC Davis

Once California's budget woes are resolved (if ever) UCSD will be the new sleeping giant in my opinion.

If Fresno State was an option they would make a world of sense.
