That nike workout gear is sick. Wish they sold that shirt/shorts combo.
Also, I love this ad... a lot.

I like the clip, but it is not a good commercial.

I like the clip, but it is not a good commercial. I agree, it reminds me of the opening clip to a documentary on ESPN or something. Doesn't really get me pumped to go to an Aztec game like it should.

Was thinking the same, but I didn't want James to think I was being negative. Glad someone said it before me.

Having someone in the weight room does not always equate to football. Why didn't they have some great plays from some of last years games?

It does say #1, hopefully that means there will be more commercials with a little more emphasis on football. I personally loved it though.

I believe the intention is to introduce certain players so the fans and the community can build a personal relationship with them. Actually, classic Nike and Pro Sports marketing.

Yeah a couple of flash backs to him running people over, with the roar of the crowd in the background, would have brought out some goose bumps for sure..

I expected better from a school that prides itself in Business and Marketing.
Looked like an afterschool project that was done in 5 mins.
Oldie Out

Not to nitpick, that's not me, but the voice over guy sounded like he could've used a nap before hitting the studio.

This is good for folks who are already fans of the program (and perhaps Moms) but it doesn't seem to be good for drumming up new business. Glad Walter gets the spotlight, he earned it!

Love our Aztecs, but this video looks like it was done by a high schooler. : /
I'm hoping it's a youtube only commercial. Anything that makes it on the airwaves needs to be higher quality...
