I thought this thread was about Kurt FU^*&%G Bevacqua...
I was hoping for something along the lines of this:
WARNING - This is not the edited version and Tommy is not NSFW:

I send a limo over.... Other great ones are the Lasorada being asked what he thinks of Kingman's performance and anything earl weaver, particularly manger's corner www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWQbN0jFo_k

Another poster (monty?) said he's the guy who brought us the MTN. Apparently he also got a zillion dollars for the Pac Ten, so Bevilacqua obviously knows a little about supply and demand. We've gotta hope he can deliver before the bubble bursts. It was Dave L. with the MTN comment. And it's good to see the Big East finally start making serious moves.

Dave L said that about the mtn and Bevagua; I'm assuming Dave is right, I do know from reading his partner in his firm's bio that that guy was part of starting-up CSTV (which the MWC originally signed with, then it became CBS College Sports)

I like this move. Should make for an interesting November. Doubt the BE would do anything before then, so crunch time for conference play should be crunch time for BE negotiations.

This has to be my favorite paragraph from the article: "They are, I think, in a very good position in that the value of live scarce intellectual property sports rights are only going up," he said. "In this case they’re the last conference franchise into the market for a long, long time. The timing is actually very good. Hard to predict – I don’t have a crystal ball -- the actual outcome. I can tell you with great certainty there will always be a lot of buyers for valuable live sports rights and there’s only one Big East conference, that’s typically a very good place. As Dave L mentioned yesterday in another thread, the Aztecs may have stumbled/lucked out into a good place this time!
