This may have been discussed here already, I can't recall. But today I was talking with a guy whose son plays football at West Hills High. He said that Rocky Long has contracted with their school to hold a couple of practices on their blue field the week they are preparing to head to Boise. The turf is slightly different in that it's a two-tone blue, but this should create some 'friendly' discussion amongst the Boise media and fanbase that week. We'll see if it holds true. Attachments:

Dont think the blue field is a big deal - but smart of Rocky to prep his team... no suprises, prepared for everything.

great idea by Rocky. Also a great way to expose our team to the local schools. West Hills is Strasburg's HS too btw.

There is a different feel playing on artificial turf compared to regular grass. If, this high school field is similar to Boise's blue turf then all the better. They say runner's do run a little faster on the turf so that won't hurt.

I'm pretty sure the newly instituted (last year anyway) rule, barring Boise St from wearing their all-blue unis at home, applies only to MWC games. I wonder if the nBE has contemplated instituting this rule yet? Are there any BSU lurkers out there who can confirm/comment on any of this?

Awesome idea. Beat Washington, beat Boise, and we're gold.
