For those in didn't catch the game, Chuckie also mentioned the former San Diego State Aztec stood out to him in practice. He's definitely going to open some eyes this year.

Have to pat myself on the back. I saw his potential as a Freshman 6 years ago. Had a nice game last night. I too can see big things from him. Started with this year-
And kept on going

Once he gets the ball in his hands, he can finish like few people can.

Too bad we didn't see much of Kevin O'Connell.

Yaa I was really hoping to see O'Connell get in there for at least a couple of drives. I read something where theyre planning on using him against Dallas next week.
I just want to see at least ONE pass from him in a Charger uniform! haha
Vincent Brown though...psshh, the kid is legit. Out of all the wide receivers on the roster for the Chargers, I seriously think he is going to imerge as the go to guy. Runs perfect routes, has great hands, good enough speed to seperate, he's dependable, coachable...just a great get for the Chargers

He is not the deep threat that Malcom is, but he will emerge as the go to, 2nd and 10, 3rd and 8 guy. Looked really impressive last night. Stoked the see the Charger offence running on all cylinders. Phil will continue to own Payton, we are going to surprise some people. Just ordered a new #17 Nike jersey.

Vincent did look great last night. Gruden gave him plenty of love. I'm hoping he can make us all forget Vincent Jackson. Gonna be great to hear "Vincent Brown, 2nd yr player out of San Diego State" every time he scores or makes a big catch

Any Charger season ticket holders? You've gotta get the S-D-S-U chant going every time he make a catch - would be awsome if it caught on and you could hear it on TV.

A month or two ago, Rivers was interviewed and he specifically said how he was looking forward to seeing how Brown does w/ a whole training camp, as he did so well last season w/out much of a camp, w/the lockout and injury. Things aren't looking so good for O'Connell, though. Whitehurst is coming back and Lee looked good in the pre season game last night. There's always the practice squad!

Should have known better than to draft a Fresno player.
