Lakers trade Bynum and a number one for one rent-a-championship season with Howard. Wow. Hope all you Time Warner customers like being locked into a big increase for some pretty poor future years. Sure glad I root for the Spurs these days.

Weird statement by you. So you're saying that the Lakers won't be able to sign him after the year ends? Come on.

Other than the fact, that they have his bird rights, meaning they can give him WAY more money, you're totally right (you aren't right at all)

Howard has to WANT to stay in L.A. That's the trick. Cuban too will have an open wallet so the deciding factor will be where he wants to play. It won't be totally about most money.

If he didn't want to stay in LA he wouldn't have been traded. Obviously things can change in a year but I'm highly optimistic that he resigns.
Oh yea, and enjoy the Spurs once the Duncan leaves. You'll find that building a team of roleplayers is not quite as easy when you don't have the best PF of all time on your team.

Of course he wants to stay in L.A. He wants to go Hollywood. He's a good looking guy, with alot of charisma. He can act as well.

Howard doesn't like to talk about championships because of the pressure they would put on him. He hardly mentioned them in his press conference. If the lakers don't win the title next year and it gets blamed on him, I expect he will end up somewhere else the following year.

I love how Orlando develops big-time centers for the Lakers. Keep 'em coming!
