NBC needs to get serious about offering Notre Dame a deal it can't refuse. ESPN has no control over ND or the BEast so NBC has a great opportunity which they really can't afford to pass on. NBC should "lockdown" Notre Dame by extending their contract beyond 2015 with a huge bonus to join the BEast after the current contract is up. (Would a $100M bonus to join BEast football for 10 years do it?) Me thinks ND could not turn that down. Air Force and BYU might be more inclined to join the BEast also if that were to happen. The real question is, "how big are NBC's cajones"?
Answer: Depends on if the Federal Government is willing to bail them out.

Finally the Big East is begining to put out some serious propoganda. This is what it needs to do. There is really very little reason why the ACC is considered a better conference then the Big East. It hasn't proven it on the football field, in the stands or with ratings.
The Big 4 are in a league of their own, but Big East needs to attack the ACC and start alerting the country to the facts!

But wait? CBS Sports is saying that the "MAX" deal for the nBE is going to be around $4,000,000 per football playing school.
Who do you believe and/or give the most street cred to?
I know who I do.

And we can only sit and wait to find out what the tv deal can/will be.
The irony of all this? A conference I grew up despising is one I am now rooting for to succeed.

This really is going to get interesting. In view of the $800 million the Padres landed, it wouldn't surprise me for SDSU to reap $12 million or more.
