Paul Pitts not in camp. Won't be ready for another 6-8 weeks. May not play this year.

My recollection is that we have the following non-conference games scheduled for next year:
9/7 @ Utah State
9/14 @ SJSU
9/21 vs. Oregon State
Assuming an 8 game "New Big East" schedule, I figured that we'd either add Fresno or a FCS school for our last non-conference game.

Other updates (sorry I should've posted together and couldn't get all of the interview):
-24 guys last year on defense average being played per game
-Rock is confident that by the 3rd or 4th game that our D line will be fine
-Not concerned about losing Hillman. We will get the same production but from 2-3 guys.
-Believes Wash is in the top 3rd of the pac 12. Price is a top QB in the country this year.
-Dingwell is one of the toughest guys on the team. Great competitor, good athlete.
-First 10 days of camp should show which freshmen will play. Most want to redshirt. We will ask them if they want to.
-Doesn't know who the punter, kicker, or longsnapper is. Decision won't be made until the week before the 1st game. Best guy gets the job/s
-Our WR spot is the deepest position on the team. Real talent. Complete turnaround from last year.
-Only 1 player knew who Carl Weathers was. He comes to games once in a while.

He said they were going to use the wildcat a lot with Meredeith running the ball. That was with a twinkle in his eye,also said he might altenate the qbs each snap. As ususal he was pulling legs and taking names.  |
