Now you all can see why nobody watchs MSNBC. There is just no sense to be made of any programing over there and I have not watched full program in months and rarely do more than skip thru that Channel on my way to something of substance. It took only a few seconds to turn this off also since the point was made at the opening.

Maybe nobody who marches in lock step with you or Rush watches MSNBC but many out there who can actually think for themselves do. And about that 'Hypocrisy'. The right was screaming just as loud when GWB was being compared with Hitler. Both sides are wrong on this issue and shouldn't do it. Now as to some of those signs in the video calling for the killing of GWB, most of them are from demonstrations in other countries. Any person in the U.S. who calls for the death of the President of the United States is going to receive a visit from the Secret Service mighty quickly.

"...most of them...." heh. And are you suggesting that there is some kind of general call for assassination coming from the Messiah's political opponents? That's what the drooling fools on MSNBC seem to be suggesting.

I see that once again "Mr Think for Himself" misses the point of the original post. I guess if it would have been spelled out for you, you would have had a better chance. Fox outdraws all the cable competition combined by a factor of two on just about every night. They are closing in on the networks rather niclely and even rate higher than one on some nights.

Glenn Beck cries last week about vitriol in American politics (after equating Obama to Nazis) then cries all the way to the bank. The money interests on the Right, and FOX, instill fear about communists and socialists, then laugh all the way to the bank through gun and ammunition sales + ratings. If you don't think it has anything to do with money, step back from the Koolaid. What do I think of MSNBC?... just a Left wing version of FOX. If I was smarter and more talented, I could make a ton of money off the Right wing "true believers". Sorry, Ozzie and Harriet are not coming back and Wasilla, Alaska is not the "Real America". FOX News...give me a break... and the Right looks down their nose at NPR???

Although I think Fox is closer to fair than any of the other cable outlets and that CNN is starting to be a bit more objective, I can see how hard core lefties would have your opinion and view. What blew it was bringing up NPR. As long a Moyers is around that outlet, it is in the tank. I do think that Juan Williams tries to be straight, but has trouble. I do agree that money has a great deal to do with all media. I would also ask that you watch Glenn Beck for what he says and how he supports what he says and not the way that he says it.

Beck is an expert "Spin Meister" and he is getting famous and rich for his skills. The World is changing rapidly, many are out of our control, and these changes are unsettling to Americans. An easy strategy is to blame all changes to the evil opposition. Beck's arguments regarding the environment are especially one-sided and easily picked apart by those educated in that field. The sad issue here is people follwing his every word as gospel. To see the true Glenn Beck, look at YouTube for the time he was on the View and Whoppie Goldberg absolutely tore him up....regarding his integrity for comments he had made. Beck is really good at what he does, but his arguments are (surprise) the ultimate of spin.

I am talking mostly about the Chicago mob connections through ACORN, SEIU, and The Apollo Group? This has to be more than just spin and coincidence! I know from past exchanges that you try to be objective and truthful even though your views are "a little left". I also know that we share concern for the environment but differ on what needs to be done and on causes.

All the talk hosts do. It's just these shows are usually one-sided with the facts. Likewise Win...have never had anything but civil exchanges with you and do give you big points for your environmental viewpoint!

Just to try to narrow the discussion a bit, would you comment on just that one idea? Is there any substance to what is being revealed about the Chicago connection and ACORN? Is it just coincidence? Will you note that on this issue, even the NYT has said that it has been asleep at the switch? Here is the link to the NYT admitting they were late in coverage but not biased. I would dispute that, but this is a start. www.nytimes.com/2009/09/27/opinion/27pubed.html?_r=2

Please tell me that last time you listened to NPR? If the best you can bring up is Moyers, you aren't listening to anything at all. Try listening in the morning. NPR is the most balanced news there is in the media and your comments offer nothing but ignorance. =Bob

As far as Glenn Beck is concerend...the guy is mentally unstable. He crys on TV and screams at callers (look at highlights on You Tube sometime). When he was addicted to drugs and alcohol, he must have driven those around him insane.....FOX tolerates him because he generates so much cash. He will crash and burn hard, I would put money on it.

I would mostly agree with what you say about Beck. He does seem a little goofy, but that is not what the question was about. What do you think of the case that he has constructed? I am sometimes guilty of not paying close attention to things that come from irritating sources, but when I do, I try to evaluate things based on the merit of the facts and not on where the information comes from.
