Looks like I'll be looking at the Aztecs take on UDub on one screen and this on another. This one is tough to call. Jon Jones can beat you in so many different ways but that Hendo Bomb is no joke if landed properly. I'll go with Jon Jones via 3rd round submission.

I think Bones will win, but want Hendo to win

Horrible News! Hendo had to drop out of the fight due to injury, Chael Sonnen accepted to replace him but Jones declined, UFC 151 is now cancelled. Damn! Damn! Damn!

This card was going to be awful in PPV buys. But yeah, kind of bummed.

Dana went a little overboard with canceling the whole event. I would have been fine seeing the other 9 fights. Everyone is mad at Bones, but I see it as 2/3 Dana and 1/3 Jones' fault for this debacle.

Can't put all the blame on Jones but at the same time a champion shouldn't have a problem adjusting to a challege thats put in front of him. This sucks most for the fighters in the undercard.

Jones is at fault. I don't like Sonnen,b ut he's right. He screwed a lot of people over by not taking a fight. Champions are supposed to take on all comers and so far, they've always have in these situations. White would owe Jones a favor for taking this fight. Thus, even if he somehow lost, Jones would get another title shot pretty quickly.
Sonnen was dead on about every UFC fighter owing White a huge debt of gratitude by taking a fight. Without Zuffa this business would be dead and Jones wouldn't have an MMA career.

Jones is NOT at fault. The UFC has saturated the market, overly so, and they are paying the price for it. You can't have 3 or 4 cards in the span of 6 weeks and complain about a lack of available fighters due to injury situations. The fact is that if this card had additional star power beyond Jones and Hendo, it would have gone on without a hitch. You can't expect one fight to carry an entire card, especially one on PPV. It makes ZERO sense for Jones to fight Sonnen on 3 days notice - Chael is coming up a weight class, he is not a contender at 205, so the fight makes zero sense for Bones to take it.

That's all correct aztecryan.... But Jon Jones is just a chickensh*t now. As great of a fighter he is, he is NOT a fighting champion. Fight fans respect fighting champions, not chumps who cherry-pick their opponents & make excuses to not fight real opponents (ala Floyd Mayweather) And against a fighter he should be able to EASILY beat in Chael Sonnen, even without adequate prep time. I lost all respect for Jon Jones. Chael is doing everything he can to get under Jon Jones's skin. Chael owns a restaurant and is now offering the "Jon Jones Pizza Special". The pizza is "loaded with chicken" & comes with a 6pack of beer, "delivered to you so don't get a DUI" haha
