More info about Bill Ayers helping Obama write his book. www.wnd.com/?pageId=110784He should have got AztecJoe to help him write it. It would be much more interesting with more colorful stories and much closer to the truth.

So, in effect, Ayers was that man behind the curtain that Obama wants us to ignore, right?
You may not be able to fool all of the people all of the time, but you sure as hell can fool a lot of the people on a given election day in November.
Wouldn't you love to have a new election now, a "do-over", to see how many Obama voters have decided they screwed up last November? My guess is that the number of such mind-changers would be amount to several millions. And it doesn't take too many changed votes in given states to change the outcome of an election.
From the standpoint of the Democrats, this near collapse of their popularity need not have happened. If Obama had been a bit more cautious in his approach to various domestic issues, I feel that his popularity would be as high or higher than it was in January. And the voters, still unhappy with Bush and the GOP, might now be, happily, in the process of realigning for the nest 20 years with the Dems.
But now political leadership is up for grabs. I still think the Democrats have a slight advantage, largely because so many citizens now see the government as their rich and benevolent uncle. But it's now a much closer call than it would have been had they not tried to swallow the whole hog all at once.

"WND" stands for Wing-Nut Daily. ;D Can there be an 'ignore button' for quoted sources?

"WND" stands for Wing-Nut Daily. ;D Can there be an 'ignore button' for quoted sources? Joining =Bob in the practice of attacking the source rather than the veracity of the content? You two should exchange notes and plan to watch MSNBC together for some thrills.
