Latos vs Eddie, Yonder and Yasmani. This should be an interesting game. Hopefully Yas can put one into the Petco seats for us and Eddie strikes out 10.

Well hope you enjoyed that one Bill. Sure looked good on TV even with that horrific call at first. Both clubs have to be loving this trade so far.

Well hope you enjoyed that one Bill. Sure looked good on TV even with that horrific call at first. Both clubs have to be loving this trade so far. Susan is out of town so I took my Nephew. We had a real good time. Went to The Palm (6th and J) for their happy hour. Very good and cheap mini meals that you can share and combine - Sliders, Crab Cakes, Outstanding chicken strips, $3 Sam Adams. It was one of those games that you had a bad feeling about from the first inning on. the pitch counts were ominous. Volquez was in the 30s in the first inning and Latos breezed. Volquez had 54 pitches and gave up a run after two and Latos barely broke a sweat. Getting Latos' pitch count up later was key and it paid off in the 8th and 9th. Great fun and a very well played game. There is definitely a different feeling to Padres games this days. Let's hope it continues.
