Donn has been promoted to "AA". Donn came into his first "AA" game in the 6th inning with a 4-1 lead. He pitched 3 shutout innings. 3 innings 2 hits 1 walk 1 K 0 runs So far, so good. I am a little surprised he isn't starting. Maybe they wanted to ease him into "AA".

No, they want to limit his innings due to the fact he's already thrown 20 more innings than he threw last season.

Donn started his first game in "AA". Was he nervous? Was he overwhelmed by playing at a higher level?
Maybe, but he went 6 innings and didn't give up any hits.

Donn Roach must be the right handed Randy Jones. Below is his line on his 3rd start.
5 innings 3 hits 0 walks 2 Ks 2 double plays 10 ground balls 1 fly ball
Oh, I forgot, ZERO runs again. After having a sub 2.00 ERA for the season at high "A" he has not allowed a run in his first 14 innings in "AA". Sweet.
