This is so sad that it makes me cry. All it takes is one jealous teen age boy with a friend to accuse a girl of impropriety, and the family will drag her outside and crush her head in with a brick. You wonder why teenage girls in Islamic countries are totally afraid to leave their father's house. Honor Killing by Muslims in Iraq Video www.truthtube.tv/play.php?vid=2108If they did not want their daughter, I would have adopted her. It is so crazy to kill children like that. When will the insanity stop? When?

The site has many other videos of Islamic Atrocities. Some are just too ugly to see. Far too ugly to see.

Well, I'm am in no means attempting to be an apologist but theocratic political structures are what they are and change has to come from the inside. Clearly education helps a lot, but even with education come a certain percentage of people who are so steeped in the theocratic ideology they simply find more intellectual arguments to continue it (the same can hold true for authoritarian systems, such as Nazi Germany).
How one changes it, I have no idea. Nor, I think, does anyone else, which is why nation building from the outside doesn't work, no matter how much the Neo-Cons believed it could. It took two world wars and the 50+ year separation of Prussia from the more liberal western German states to make it work in Germany and that still wouldn't have worked if the West Germans hadn't wanted it to. Fortunately, the Russians beat down the Prussians so hard there was nothing left for the east to do but accept the west's political system after the wall came down.
But dealing with Islamic states is another thing altogether because there just aren't all that many liberals. But then again, Iraq was something of a secular country under Saddam and I suspect there are some liberal elements, at least among the Sunnis who were offered an education.
I would suggest the best thing to do would be to get off our oil addiction as soon as we can and then offer the countries with economies based upon oil, which is most of the Middle East, opportunities for educations in the west so they can find other routes to building wealth (which, of course, is also a path to first the middle class and then elite access, which is pretty much non-existent anywhere in the Middle East - and that means the path is subversive, but not particularly obvious).

I am not convinced that we have any legitimate role to play in helping these morally and socially backward countries to move into the current Century. What we can do is put a bounty on Radical Islamic countries and leaders. Bring me the head of Osama and I will give you United States Citizenship and Ten Million dollars. Bring us the head of Mullah Omar and we will pay you nine million dollars and offer you free US citizenship. All the rest of our efforts to stop Radical Islam have failed or are failing.

This is so sad that it makes me cry. I'm a little disappointed... Young women are to be enjoyed. They are not there to be killed because they talked to the wrong person. I have raised 14 daughters. A few were difficult Foster daughters), not none deserved the death penalty. I have a special place in my heart for young girls.

And all in the name of Islam. Just sick. I have no doubt most muslims are decent people. I see some of them on TV saying "Oh, please convert to Islam, the only way to heaven is through allah." Then you have terrorism, sharia law, teenage girls stoned to death. Decent muslims have plenty of internal issues to deal with before they should try to convert people.
