Bartlett SS The Red Sox or Yankees this lineup ain't, but if they play up to their talent level that's not a bad lineup for Petco. Continued growth of Maybin, Headley (who've I've not been too impressed with in the past but had a better year last year than his numbers indicate), Hundley who might be blossoming into a front line catcher and Venable who I/we hope is getting it now with Plantier as batting coach. If Alonso is the real deal and can give us a .270 avg with 15 jacks, 30 dbl's and 75 RBI's we could be fairly competitive which gives us another year for our minor league talent to develop. I'm not saying we'll win our division this year, but it could be fun to watch this team develop with the young guys we have if they continue to to grow in their development.
