I don't know William, why don't you ask Limbaugh who perfected it? I listen to Rush occasionally and like it when he opines on political strategy. Unfortunately, his recent attack on the law student was a huge mistake that will hurt him. No doubt many people who are fans (of which I am one at least somewhat) have been offended by this. Rush went way over the line. The radio hosts I really like are Michael Medved and Dennis Prager. These guys are very smart, well informed, and would never make a foolish personal attack on anyone as Rush has done in this case. AzWm

AzWm William, the attack on the law student is nothing, he's been at this schtick for many years. His audience (and the audience of Coulter, Beck etc.) need a "bogeyman" and a black and white world. Demeaning the perceived opposition is necessary to make the most money. Will, Medved etc. are too intellectual and do not make demeaning personal attacks and hence get less audience. I in fact do tune into Medved here and there. For Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck etc. it is a badge of honor to be hated. Unfortunately they are talking to about 25% of the American public and pissing off everyone else. So if Will, Medved or Krauthammer drop tomorrow, I would net expect any gloating from the left or the middle... however, if Limbaugh dropped tomorrow...champagne sales would go up in certain areas.

Schtick? SCHTICK? The selective outrage is stunning. How 'bout this anal orifice for "schtick": www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/03/bill-maher-calls-sarah-palin-a-dumb-twat-video/OBTW, IMHO, anyone who wants to behave like a mink and demand that their libido be subsidized by other people is beneath contempt.

Um, you do understand, I assume, that her testimony was to be about the medical benefits of the pill beyond birth control. I assume you understand that Santorum has only 7 children which means he's only had sex with his wife 7 times or he or his wife has used birth control. I assume you understand that a vast majority of Catholic couples use birth control. Given those assumptions, I'm not sure what you're whining about, other than the fact that you've become one of the biggest whiners on here. These are some facts about The Pill, and yeah, I do understand the associated risks: today.msnbc.msn.com/id/22100862/ns/today-today_health/t/beyond-contraception-benefits-pill/But the simple fact is this - you're a man and you cannot control any woman's body, including you wife's. It's a woman's decision and we don't need a Charismatic Catholic male in the White House telling women that they should be happy being baby factories. =Bob

I don't think people should be forced to subsidize other people's recreational sex. It's that simple.

It is funny how the issue gets twisted. It is funny how =short can get it so wrong and how a short simple but crude entry can be so right on target.

Yeah, the runt tries to divert to other medical benefits supposedly attributed to the "pill". Well, hell... How 'bout getting Obama and Kathleen Supercillious to mandate free red wine? pjmedia.com/instapundit/138344/

How sad men of your generation are. How sad that you support an attack on a woman who was testifying that a lesbian friend was on the pill in order to deal with ovarian cysts.
I really never much like men of your generation because you felt the need to out-macho your fathers or older brothers and, in the meantime, you've denigrated women up one side and down the other.
I'd guess that your wives were hard pressed to put up with you two, but you were gone at least 6 months of every year so they figured out in a hurry that you really didn't count when it came to family. I don't blame you for that because it was your career and you did provide for your family, but I can and will blame you for being dickwads who have no understanding of womens' health issues.
Nav wives may well be the strongest women on the planet.

I object to forcing private institutions to provide them free of charge via executive edict. But you knew that.
