Will people finally admit that this is not a playoff team and far from being a team able to compete for a Super Bowl. The following positions need to be addressed: RB, TE, OL, WR, DL, LB, CB, S and KR.
Norv hasn't been the best coach but Smith and the Spanos' have done nothing over the last few years to keep this as a championship level team. They have just put cheap band-aids on a sinking ship for the last 3-4 years and hoped people would still fork over money to see the team play.

Went to a storage auction today right across from Chargers Park and it was emotional even from across the street to see the reaction from players, coaches, etc. Dielman will be missed.

The team is in big trouble. Dielman's retirement may be the biggest hole in the roster.
A.J. has done a TERRIBLE job in the draft the last 4 or 5 years, and his free agent moves have pretty much consisted of letting talented veterans leave via free agency.
And now with so many holes to fill Dean is trusting A.J. to fix the team's roster. Not bloody likely. Dean seems like a nice guy, and he really seems to want the team to win, but his dislike for confrontation has really hurt his ability to lead the organization. A.J. should have been fired. The job he's done over the last 5 years has crippled the team.

While I like Dielman for the class he shows both him and McNeil's play have regressed sharply the past 2 years, sign Gaither up and the o-line while has some holes can be better next year.
