These "upgrades" are just showing the world that these pundits are "just beginning" to see what we've known all along (regarding our targeted recruits).
They showed up late to the party.

Rivals with EL provides better Aztec coverage; however, the national guys over at Scout seem to do a much better job with the player rankings. They don't seem "as" bias toward the traditional programs.

sometimes i think players are given "upgrades" or better grades in general once they committ to a reputable bball school. yes sdsu is now one of those schools.

sometimes i think players are given "upgrades" or better grades in general once they committ to a reputable bball school. yes sdsu is now one of those schools. It also doesn't hurt that the players are actually working hard and improving. They also play for some of the top teams in CA that have played in major tournaments this year in front of scouts and so-called experts. And being seen by the scouts is the biggest thing. Shrigley's biggest perceived weakness was athletic ability and lateral movement ... and he already has a few youtube highlight plays where he drove the lane and literally jammed it over opposing defenders. Spencer's numbers are respectable, but his team is winning games with him anchoring the post and blocking every shot in his area, and he has also grown 1-2 inches and added 20 lbs since last year. He has legit PF/C size now. Most importantly, it sounds like these two kids come from solid character families that expect success through hard work.
