Would Fish like to have these guys? Previous talk seemed to center around Texas, if I recall correctly. If TX wants them we mind like them too. They insist that they are a package deal that also can play football.
Long ago the Aztecs were so desperate for a recruit that they were willing to let Marshall Faulk run the ball, rather than play DB where he was probably one of the nations best, and it turned out pretty good.
How about getting creative with the Robinsons: Let them play both sports and give one a scholarship in each sport. Sort of a two for one deal. After a year or two they will most likjely determine where they each belong. Bothy Aztec teams are likely to benefit and the cost is reasonable to both, I think!
OK, fire away creativity haters and internet bullies.

The Robinson twins are much more talented on the hardwoord as opposed to the gridiron! I've had the opportunity to watch them play both sports and they absolutely dominate in basketball. Whatever school lands the twins are in for a real treat.

I suspect that their BB talent would likely win out; either way the Aztecs would benefit. My thought is to differentiate the Aztecs offer from others to accomodate the lads sporting interests.
If they want to play for $$$ in the future they will soon have to decide what risks are worth taking and reduce those that may damage future earning potential.

Men amongst boys IMO. www.sandiegoballers.com/Ballers2013.html

I watched them play Wednesday night and wasn't overly impressed. They both are athletic with good builds, but they both also looked a bit stiff without real natural basketball moves. They might just be a bit raw is all. No doubt the best athletes on the floor, but wasn't wowed by them.

If Fish wants them, I'd take them.
If not, pass.

Who's the last player from Lincoln we landed in either football or basketball?
There's a disconnect for football and I have my suspicions why but how about basketball?

My knowledge of Aztecs basketball only goes back to around 1998 or so, and I was only 15/16 back then. But I dont think we have ever had a Lincoln basketball player here, not in the Fisher era. We made a strong run at Norman Powell and we offered the Robinson twins very early, but appear to be either out of the running or less interested in them - more focused on the Hamiltons it seems. Lincoln hoops has come back strong in recent years. We recruited Powell and the Robinson twins and last year we were showing some interest in Resean Simpson. I think it would be wise for the staff to maintain a solid relationship with Lincoln coaches. We have finally established a stronger presence for local talent (which is few and far between compared to LA). Richie and Shrigley are the top local HS recruits we have secured. But we have had great hometown bouncebacks in Malcolm, Rahon, and Shelley. People were very upset to miss on Budinger, Chol, Powell, and probably the Robinsons, but we are defintiely established enough now for kids who want to stay in SD at and play for a strong program. All that said, Lincoln is a great place to start. Who's the last player from Lincoln we landed in either football or basketball? There's a disconnect for football and I have my suspicions why but how about basketball?

Please say it's not anything like what has been said about the Hoover coach.

Yep. Cant believe I forgot him there. I remember when we landed Mo and found out he had 2 younger brothers, I was thinking that might lead to a potential future Aztec or two... I know one of them (Kareem) played at Helix, not sure about the youngest. Anyway, neither was blessed with Mo's height or talent.
