We're recruiting this kid for the bounce back. Definitely not a waste of resources getting to know this kid. He wont be in college long enough for a bounce back. Bounce back players are kids who are on the borderline of being really good who chose a top 5-10 school and never can break into the big time. A MM star who chose a HM because of the name. Aaron is not a bounce back player. Aaron will chose UNM before he chooses SDSU. UNM has a built in recruiter in his brother. I looks like UofA and Wash lead but UNM is right there. He currently taking recruiting off right now and focusing on his HS season. He follows his brother VERY closely. I can promise you that from first hand info.

You guys need to adjust your small-time thinking. Of course we should go after him. We are the best program in the west. If we didn't go after him, I would be really pissed. Its not that I think we are small time, be we are so freaking late to the party. Dude, has been rerited for 2 years.

Maybe it took seeing how SDSU has become a national player to get his attention. Shoot for the moon, but don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Most top prospect kids are I'm school for 1-2 years max then they are out. But point taken.

Drew Gordon only had a year and half to play when he became eligible last year. He wasn't going to take Malcom's or Kawhi's spot in the starting line up, so I don't blame him for choosing a good program where he could get the most minutes right away.
Living in Albuquerque isn't for everyone. If he wants to play for the best team in the west, he'll choose SDSU.

I think Drew gave us some serious consideration, just New Mexico ended up being a slightly better fit. Drew would be the man this year, but last year his minutes would not be where he wanted them.
Aaron's dad played at SDSU, I think we should get some consideration. Actually, by playing in the Big West, his family and friends will probably get to go to see more games than they would in the MWC.

I wish but I think Stanford will snag him up....IT'S STANFORD. This. I'll say the same as I did with Ricky Seale. SDSU is a great school but if my kid had the chance to get a scholarship to Stanford, THAT is where he would be going.

I wonder if Seale will ever see the field much. all these kids from San Diego seem to get lost in the depth charts, or have conflicts with their coaches.

Related to your comment and not the topic of this thread, this season Tyler Gaffney rushed 74 times for 449 yards and TDs and had 12 receptions for 79 yards and 1 TD. Ricky Seale had 6 carries for 23 yards and 1 reception for 3 yards.

UA has a ton of players in the front court now. Why would he want to go there? If he does then maybe we can get Chol on another kickback transfer.
