My Lord, it was pretty similar to how the Aztecs lost this weekend. Just a total lapse in concentration by Rivers. This team is unraveling fast, and I dont know where to look for the problem. It almost just seems like they have lost confidence in themselves, perhaps due to all the craps the took in the playoffs.

Next opportunity: Green Bay Packers. Defending Super Bowl Champs, currently undefeated.
In other words: Expect the Chargers to be 4-4 by next Sunday evening.
After that: Thursday night vs. the Raiduhs. Expect the Chargers to be 4-5 after that one since the Bolts have problems stopping the run and you can be sure that the Raiduhs will do nothing but run with that three headed monster of theirs at RB. It won't matter who's at QB, they'll physically dominate this team.

Too many injuries and defections in the defense. There isn't enough beef on that line to stop a good run game.

Nevermind that we went backwards on a 3 & out to start the OT period on offense, we looked like we were playing that part of the game as if we were up by 8, KC had no timeouts, and were running a defensive two-minute drill just trying to keep the clock running. Why let them have the 5-6 yd. passes over the middle so easily? And if we are going to let them have those 5-6 yards catches, at least make a freaking tackle so they don't turn into 14-15 yards plays. And what the hell was up with that 3rd & 14 that we let them convert (on a run play, thanks) to ice the game? If we make a stop there you for Todd Haley to at least make a decision on a 50+ yd FG or punt the ball back to the Chargers. I freaking hate this team. At least the Padres come out at the beginning of each season and flat out tell the fans how much they are going to suck. The chargers are spirit crushers... every year.

Of course, the fact that we had zero pass rush game last night might have precipitated some of the rest of the foul-ups. The 1st offensive play of the game for SD was a false start, that was all you needed to know it was the forecast of the end to come!
