Not sure. I would say that Chargers=Aztecs except that the Norvs get more people to the games. Have no idea why that is.

Can we dispense with the pretense that Norv and A.J. are competent at what they do?
A.J. took Buddy Nix' advice and made some good draft picks, but since then it's been one bad player personnel move after another. And A.J.'s pick as Head Coach? What a joke!

Its gotten to the point where I'd be embarrassed if I were AJ. THe one redeeming thing I saw was Norv on the Sideline going apeshit. another thing, whats with the officiating? these last two games have been brutal against the Chargers; even the commentators were taking note of it. really weird.

Again, I hold that this is not Norv's fault. He's working with what he's been given to work with. He's got the single most overrated QB in the game of football. He's got a roster full of diminishing return that's getting worse every year. He's handicapped by bad draft after bad draft after bad draft.......He's leaning far too heavily on the passing game right now, but with the fragility of this group of running backs, I'm not sure he has much of a choice.

Look at his career record. Norv has made a career out of getting the least possible out of his teams. His teams have been consistent underachievers. He's a decent OC, but as a Head Coach he's below average. And A.J. hired him. For that alone A.J. should be criticized. But then you look at the talent level and the bad decsions that A.J. has made in the player personnel department (many based on his ego) and it's easy to see that he is a fraud as a GM. They both need to go.

In all honesty, I feel AJ is more at fault for the downfall of this team than Norv.

They both need to go. Here's something to chew on: Look at the Chargers' drafts and personnel decisions since the departure ("retirement?") of Buddy Nix, who was the Asst. GM until 2007. Buddy ran the draft, and until that point they were one of the best teams on draft day. Ever since then, though....... Fast forward to 2011 and take a peek at the Buffalo Bills. What's their record? How are they doing? Know who the GM of the Bills is? I'll give you a hint: His initials are "Buddy Nix." Coincidence? I think not.......
