This poll will lock in 8 days.
The question is simple, is the Tim Tebow era beginning or will he be exposed as a great college QB but not having the right tools to be a NFL QB?

The issue, in my mind are his intangibles. Sure he doesn't have an NFL release and has gotten a lot of criticism for that and a few other technical issues. As many olde-timers know, I look at the intangibles when I look at players and teams. It isn't a simple summary of what the book says, or a collection of tools that makes a player or team great. True greatness comes from within. I think Tebow has command and exemplary leadership that is rare and sets him apart from others. The issue for him truly whether his tools are good enough to give his leadership a chance to make him excel and win.
They will have to make adjustments in their playbook to accomodate his shortfalls, no doubt. Will that give NFL DCs enough to checkmate him when they scheme against his physical strengths and go after his weaknesses?
Only time will tell. Should be interesting.

Tebow will be a flop. He doesn't have the skills of an NFL QB and teams will exploit that. In that way he reminds me of Flutie, another QB with leadership skills and lots of intangibles. He was just too short and NFL teams mostly could contain him. Tebow has other deficiencies.

He's going to take his lumps with that Denver team. We'll see how he pans out.

Tebow keeps winning. Interesting what poise and leadership can do for you...

I watched the game today against the Vikes. Heckuva game.
I'm a Tebow fan now. He's not perfect. He's just a winner. What's not to like about this kid?

Whether he can lead an NFL team to success long term remains to be seen. For the most part, Denver's defense has kept the Broncos in games despite very poor first half offensive play. I don't think Tebow is a long term solution at QB, but it's been fun to watch. Since the Chargers screwed it up, it would be great if Denver could make a run this year.

6-22 for 60 yards and 1 INT in the most clutch game of the year. He may be warm and fuzzy to some but glad he's not our QB.

The question is: if you are hanging your hat on being a "winner" and not any other stats, what happens when the team stops winning? Broncos just backed into the playoffs losing 3 straight.
Football is a team game and one player can't win it for them. Most of the offense has come from an aging McGahee and kicker Prater. How will that team look in the future?

The whole Tim Tebow Phenomenon reminds me of Mark The Bird Fidrich. The whole country watched that dude for a couple years to see what would happen next. It was one of the most exciting, short lived, and in fact "Legendary" careers in the history of Pro Sports.
The Bird would go behind the mound and talk to the baseball. Tim Tebow has made Tebowing the new thing.
I just hope when Tebow works on his truck 30 years from now, he remembers to set cinder blocks under it, just in case the jack fails, so he doesn't get crushed, like The Bird did.

Tebow is going to get his butt wopped up on by my steelers. ...and it is written, John Chapter 13, Verse 13. I always thought the few people in the OC who were speaking about this guy were calling him, "Tevo". Isn't the word, "wop" a slur on iTALLians? HAM

Look, I like the kid. He has achieved what many said he couldn't do. However, if he doesn't increase his passing accuracy, then I think he will be on a short leash regarding the quarterback position. Teams are starting to figure him out, which has led to the exposure of the entire offense.
The Bronco's were successful in making the playoffs. Not sure if 8-8 is a success, but it was a vast improvement from the last few years. I think you have to give some consideration to the defense, running game, (including Tebow), and the kicker for the Bronco's success this year.

Lady Gaga just tweeted pro-Tebow. I wonder if she's ready for the avalanche of crap she's about to get.

John 3:16 is the most quoted passage in the bible. Tebow throws for 316 yards averaging 31.6 yards per completion. Divine intervention?
