The ball was under thrown his way when Rivers was trying to avoid a sack.

he was injured most of the preseason. Walters moved ahead of him and he performed well . Believe yesterday was the first day he was on the "active " roster.

It was really great to see him out there on the field! WTG, Vincent. I can't even imagine the adrenaline that kid had coursing through him.

I was at the game hoping that he would get his 1st NFL reception but he was used more as a blocker and decoy. I dont think he knows the playbook all the way, he seemed to run the wrong route a few times. Patrick Crayton and him were running across the middle right next to each other, I saw Crayton come over, put his arm around him, and pointed in the direction that he should have run. Once he gets the playbook down, i think he will be our #3 receiver behind Jackson and Floyd.

NFL playbooks are pretty thick. Give the kid some time to absorb it and let the game slow down for him.
There's a lot of upside, he's a 3rd round pick and that's pretty good.

The Chargers tend to be very patient with draft picks and they seem to like VJ so I'm not worried. Hope to see him tearing it up on NFL highlights for years to come.

If Larry English still has a job, then Vincent is going to get a little time to see what he can do. I believe that if Brown had been healthy that the Chargers would have let Malcolm Floyd go elsewhere. Now, as a Charger fan, I get best of both worlds. Keep Floyd and Brown.

Fact that Chargers kept him despite him missing all of preseason on a roster stacked with WR's says that the Chargers believe in him. At this stage, Jackson, Floyd and Crayton are better NFL WR's. Kid has a chance to a) get health and b) learn from Pro Bowlers and grow into a long time NFL WR living in America's Finest City down the street from SDSU.

AJ would be burned alive if he got rid of his 3rd round pick before even one NFL down. I think Brown will benefit greatly from learning with these other receivers, especially Crayton.

And since this is about VJ, here's a video I don't think many have seen: Almost the whole video about the Aztecs and Hoke and the Michigan game.
