i think bad throws were the bigger issue of the day Lindley had a bad day. The offensive line did not protect him from the rush well but he just as often rushed his passes when he had time. Yes, Lindley had a bad day. He wasn't the only one, of course. Let's hope that will look back at the end of the season and count this as the Aztecs' worst game of the year. Should have been a lot closer, though Michigan fans will counter that they hurt themselves badly with their own fumbles. (By the way, here's something I noted. In the post game show, Gerry DiNardo, by way of praising Michigan's run defense, noted that Hillman was allowed "only 110 yards rushing." Well, how many times in the past has SDSU not been able to get close to 110 yards rushing as a team in a game like this? It's progress of a sort when one of our runner can get 110 yards and that is considered a poor performance.) AzWm

I thought Hillman looked fine when he wasn't fumbling the ball. 5.2 yards per carry in the Big House...I'll take it. This. Today we played Michigan, not WSU or Cal Poly. A couple of Ronnie's runs would have been taken to the house against the slower guys those other opponents had at safety. Hillman actually looked slower on artificial turf than he does on grass.
