NE TEs are young and tough matchups. Great hands and they run good routes. Mismatch for the short Safeties we have.
Brady is Brady
Belicheck is Belichek
Norv is Norv
We lose and move on.

Great bottom line summary. FWIW, "Gronk" has become somewhat of a cult hero in NE.

Tom Brady is the man. He is a machine, a mechanism, a skilled artisan in the art of passing the pigskin. Above all ,he is a winner.!I love Joe Montana, and he may still be the greatest QB of all-time, but Mr. Brady is not far behind and if he stays healthy he will undoubtedly go down as the greatest QB to ever strap on a helmet and pads. I loved him at Michigan and knew, just freakin' knew that this kid was truly special! He was destined baby!

Brady makes me sick, and the constant ass kissing by the announcers makes it even worse.

The Chargers still have a sub par offensive line. That's on A.J.
They let go of a linebacker that had a ton to offer this team. A.J. didn't bring in Kirk Morrison when he could have.
Every single year we lose more than we gain. This year we gained a couple former All-Pro types who are past their prime and a few warm bodies.
A.J. is a fraud. He builds contenders - not champions.

Same tired message from you, Erik....The loss had nothing to do with our offensive line outside of Clary, who is horrible. Mathews had a solid game, some big holes opened up in the running game. Antonio Gates was a no-show, Philip had a very off game, and Manusky was exposed. Not sure what linebacker we let go that you're referring to....Burnett?

Not signing Morrison when one of our LB's went down was even more stupid. The O-line is good at pass blocking, but not nearly as good at run blocking, and it's been that way for several years now. When they needed a push they went backwards on those 4 plays inside the 2. Like I said, A.J. builds contenders, not champions. The Chargers will never win a Super Bowl with A.J. Smith as their GM. Had he signed a couple top quality free agents before the 14-2 year the Bolts likely would have won the Super Bowl. But instead he went with a team largely inexeperienced in the playoffs and it showed. The window closed, and A.J. can't get it open again. Oh, yeah - he fired Marty and hired Norv in his place. Firing Marty wasn't necessarily a stupid thing given who he wanted on his staff to replace Wade and Cam. Hiring Norv was incredibly stupid, though. A.J. just wanted a yes man as head coach. How's that worked out???

The Chargers lost because they score when they had the ball inside the 30, what was it, 3 or 4 times? That's horrible.
