No fire, no passion, and getting manhandled by Vikes on both sides of the ball and Special Teams.
A.J.'s job hinges on how Norv does or whether or not he fires Norv if this team doesn't do as well as expected.

Well, it looked to me like Norv was going to blow another opener. And to a team they should have dominated.
Maybe Spanos should hire Marty back to coach the first half, and have Norv coach the second.
Marty liked to jump out to a big lead and then sit on it for as long as he could. Norv likes to play plain vanilla for the first half, dig himself into a big hole, and then unleash the dogs in the second half and hope to score enough to win.
It worked today, but this is the NFL; and the opponents are not stupid, they do figure it out.

Scifres and Tolbert were super stellar. Rivers played well.
Like the Aztecs win over Army, a Win is a win, ugly or pretty.

Marty is the BIGGEST choke in the history of NFL. Man is HATED in KC, Cleveland and San Diego. He is unemployed for a reason. NOBODY wants him.
Norv is bad but Marty is a GUARANTEE failure in playoffs. By the way, year before his last, he also earned the dubios distinction of MOST TALENTED TEAM TO MISS THE PLAYOFFS with Chargers. Screw Norv but spare me with Marty bull crap.

Chargers advantages today over Vikings:
Total net yards: 407 to 187 Time of Pos: 37:17 to 22:43 Total Plays: 77 to 43 First Downs: 30 to 10 Penalities: 4 to 9
Rivers threw receptions to 8 different WR's today. Next week, Crayton in back as the #3 WR.

The Chargers still have a problem with the offensive line. A.J. has failed, yet again, to fix that problem. They have what is probably one of the bottom 10 O-Lines in the league.
A.J.'s roster moves have failed to make this team better. They've plateaued. They are a consistent playoff team, but they can't win the really big games.
