Sort of a dumb question since the Post is a member of the media. =Bob Read carefully, Bob! I said " so overlooked," not completely overlooked. The overwhelming tone of the coverage of Ted Kennedy's death is laudatory. I'm not even saying that such a tone is wrong. After all, the man served in the Senate for nearly half a century. I'm just saying that a long-serving Republican with such a skeleton in his closet would receive much less favorable treatment. The fact is that Republicans with that kind of skeleton usually are rejected by the voters (including GOP voters), whereas the Democrats get frequent passes no matter how unsavory their behavior. Examples: Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, Gerry Studds (why was he not charged with statutory rape?). AzWm
