This sounds plausible. And that's the frightening part; it just might work! But will Obama and his lefty cohorts grasp this solution which, if they have their Machiavellian thinking caps on, they will see is how to get more or less what they want? (Question: if we end up with health care effectively managed . . .though indirectly. . . by the federal government, will federal officials have to wait in lines with the rest of us, or will there be a cozy back-door through which they can jump the line? Just wondering! : www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2009/08/28/obamacare_the_exit_strategy_98071.htmlAzWm PS: For that matter, would not rich people be able to buy their way to the head of the line? (Which is what I expect would happen. Seriously, do you think a Bill Gates is going to say, " Well, in the greater good, my wife will just have to do without that pacemaker she needs; she's had a good life." Yeah, I'm sure that's what he would say in such a situation!)

Yeah, I'm sure that's what he would say in such a situation!) It would take very little time for a "black market" in care to develop which would further constrict the "supply" of health care. We are in for loads of trouble if Obama and Mob do not back off and go at this problem piecemeal.

The easy solution to the health care issue is to go to Mexico, Costa Rica, India or Thailand for MAJOR medical issues. All other medical should be paid out-of-pocket/cash by consumers which would empower them to compare medical care costs and drive down those costs. The Government really has no business in providing health care. Goverment medical is an absurd concept which is destined for failure. So why bother?
