William, stand by for the "ad hom" attack on Betsy.
You know....Goldberg is a right-wing a$$hole...
Betsy will be a right wing c**t, who probably has an unhealthy relationship with Ann Coulter.
Or something along those lines.
Don't expect the substance of the article to be addressed.

That Obama would take the counsel of such a man with such inhuman views is really eye opening. How do we know that he has Obama's ear? He is still there!

Just need to point out that she resigned from the board of Cantel Medical Corporation 8 days ago. But once again, I will remind you, that the insurance companies already engage in rationing and shortening peoples' lives through the practice of dropping coverage for those they think will not be around much longer. =Bob

And once again, I will remind you, that if an insurance company is in breach of your contract with them you can sue their ASS OFF. Alternatively, you can pay out of pocket for any service you think you need.
Under a government controlled system, which will surely involve rationing based on Zeke Emmanuel's "value to society" yardstick, you will be $#!+ out of luck.
You won't be able to sue the government for their ... ahem ... dispassionate, economic decision.
And you and your provider will go to jail if you contract directly and pay out of pocket.
(Fairness, you know - can't have people spending their own money on something that not everyone else is able to do - unless you happen to be of the political elite class.)

Yeah, I'm really going to find a lawyer who is willing to take a contingency case against the vast bank of liars for hire the insurance industry has on retainer and argue that the fine print was too difficult to understand. How stupid are you? And unlike you, I know what it costs to pay out-of-pocket for an illness. =Bob

Please explain to me how this "black market" would work. Would there be clandestine hospitals or doctors taking bucks under the table? The problem with your BS argument is that it still assumes there will be a single-payer system even though nothing in any bill suggests that to be the case. Oh wait, I know - Beck says it's all part of a Fascist/Communist plot by Obama to take away our God given right to decide that we won't pay for health care up front and it's all the fault of illegal aliens getting treatment in ERs. And after all, why should poor people be offered medical insurance, given that they wouldn't be poor if they just weren't stupid and undeserving of anything except minimum wage and their lowly place in life? And yet, you continue to consider yourself to be a "Christian"? =Bob

My first two kids were on my own hook, no gummint insurance. You don't know $#!+ about me and my medical expenses, so quit trying to pretend you do.

The rest of it must be your thoughts since they never came from me although you might be right about Obama's Communist, Fascist or Socialist leaning. How would your insensitive remark about Christians have entered the picture? You need some sort of help or an intervention.

There is no one that denies that Health Insurance needs some attention. Be sure to note the difference between care and insurance. What we do not need is this example expanded to include all of us like Canada or Great Brit. It looks like ObamaKare is dead. What we need now is slow incremental steps to improve health care and health insurance. We do not need a huge intrusion by the Federal Government.
