No damage, but it shook pretty good for 30 seconds or so! Only felt it for about 5 seconds here, but you're a lot closer to Borrego than I am. =Bob

It shook here a lot - rattled the windows like crazy, but had a short duration. Funny thing was my wife was outside and heard it, but didn't feel it. Takes a big quake or a close quake before you feel it outside a building. =Bob

Just not as long lasting or heavy here, I guess. According to East County Magazine alerts, it's been downgraded to a 5.4 and people on Mt. Helix reported feeling a big jolt in the middle of it, which is basically what I felt. My wife was actually in the alley by our house, which is concrete, but didn't feel it. Different soils and bedrock, maybe? =Bob

I was upstairs and it was pretty wild. I have felt bigger ones in San Francisco and Japan, but this one was very noticeable with that big jolt.

KPBS said this morning that it shook loose a big boulder out by Campo and the boulder left a 3 foot hole in 94.

yea...I just mixed up the Elsinore with a "Palomar fault".... realize it was SJ....looked at your map and considering what I felt for a measly 5.4 on the SJ.... a 6.5 on the Elsinore would have a good chance to create damage that exceeds the deductable for quake insurance on my street!!
