See, the problem is this, Will. I've talked, either by phone or by PM, with a few of the "liberals" who used to hang out on the old political forum and they simply will not come over here because you and the other two old farts gang up on anyone who disagrees in any way with what you three post and you three turn every discussion into an anti-Obama diatribe. Quite frankly, I haven't been posting much on here lately because of that. What it will come down to is you, Pooh and Dave will have the political forums all to yourself and I'm really not sure how much advertising Pro-Boards is willing to put into a forum that has 3 people interested in it.
I'm not suggesting you change anything, just pointing out that the constant attacks on anyone you three see as "liberals" will eventually lead to only you three discussing things among yourselves and there is no forum that can survive on that basis.

At this point, it's actually about you, William and Dave having a private discussion with each other. At this point I see little reason to stay on this forum, given that those who had my back on the old political forum haven't bothered to migrate here because they don't believe they can get a fair shake. I will stay for the time being, but getting beat up by the Gang of 3 every time I post something is hardly encouraging. As for your comment above, Beck is an idiot. All I'm seeing on here are three old men, all of who came of age in the '50s and all of whom appear to have accepted what the John Birch Society had to say about the "threat of Communism" and are now fighting your last ideological battle. I doubt that any of you three have ever much watched Beck, given that he's on about the time you all take afternoon naps, but the constant litany on here about how the Commies are taking over is ridiculous, paranoid and pathetic. I will make my decision over this weekend. If I decide to leave, I will send PMs to every "liberal" on here suggesting that they also leave and this forum will die. Liberals are now taking heat nationwide on many issues so they are opting out of a chance to discuss things because the predominant thinking is against you. It may be true that you "can take others with you" off this board. That is really a sad statement about the folks that you think you can influence. I hope they step up and say that they can think for themselves. The lack of discussion is more likely the fact that there is very little "meat on the bone" concerning liberal thought. It is proving to be shrinking in all quarters. If that causes this forum to shrink due to lack of resolve or a change in attitude by former liberals, then it is not all bad. I have to hand a kudo to William for putting this board together. I also have to wonder if the lack of a separate sub category on Zip's board is not an admission that the liberal point of view has very little weight and most opinion is shifting to a more moderate or even conservative position. You admit deleting some posts but just can't remember others that you delete. Why don't you just fess up like a man that you are flawed and should not be seen as anything else?
