Best card in how long, Josh? A LONG time, man. The Leben fight was truly incredible.......and Bonner, wow, he's a warrior. I thought Brock was done...but I give him props for his come back. If Brock gets you on the ground, it's game over.

Best card in how long, Josh? Definitely. I went in expecting an awful card with one great fight and got a great card from top to bottom. Carwin was jobbed. The fight should have been over in the first round. Anybody other than Cock Chestner and the fight would have been stopped.

Horsesh*t. Watch the replays. After the initial flurry, Lesnar had a good cover, and Shane was hitting more forearm than face.
I give Rosenthal credit for being a good ref and knowing when to call a fight. Given the 2nd round, we know Brock wasn't really hurt.
Your dislike of Lesnar is obvious in your biased comments.
Then, I have been taking you to school on MMA for years.
Have fun pulling for Cain to win next....prepare to be disappointed. LMAO.

Really impressed by the ass whooping that Lesner took (I was suprised that it wasn't stopped, but he was able to defend himself) and his ability to come out in the second, easily take him down, prepare for position, and then choke him out. The Leben/Akiyama fight was tits but watching two monsters like that go at it was pretty fun, hope to see it again.

Like I said, anyone other than Dana's cash cow Cock Chestner and that fight is stopped. Chestner definitely had better cardio and did a nice job of recovering for the 2nd round. Carwin just punched himself out in the first round, plain and simple. lol, schooling me? To quote the Jesus, "Laughable man." The Leben/Akiyama fight was definitely the $#!+. I have to hand it to Leben, he was impressive.

I agree with Josh, Lesnar was actively trying to push Carwin away with upkicks and just pushing him off with his legs. Rosenthal, for once, did a good job. How Herb Dean did not get that fight is beyond me, especially after Rosenthal's last fight. It was a good non-stoppage as opposed to some of the Strikeforce carnage from last weekend. Great night of fights, my hands were shaking. By the way, I've got tickets to the August 1st card at the Sports Arena....Jon Jones baby!

Amazing. Like the rest of you I thought it was over during the first round. Lesnar got punched in the head about 100 times but came out in round two like he was unfazed and beat carwin. Looking forward to Cain vs. Brock.

Meh I was more disapointed in Carwin than I was impressed by Brock...
Should the fight have been stopped in the first round...Probably but it wasn't and Brock was obviously lucid when he was finally able to get up. Carwin clearly showed he was the more talented fighter in the first round but he gassed himself out and was too tired to defend the TD (which he stuffed 3 in the first) and ultimately a low level submission attempt in the second. That said Brock deserves the credit for being a tough SOB and pulling a unintentional rope-a-dope in the first and capitalizing on it in the second.

agree, dude was so used to finishing in the first that he could barely stand in the second, that takedown was more like a lean down. some of it is conditioning, but some has to be the mental aspect of I beat the $#!+ out of this guy, they didn't stop it, I'm sucking wind and I got to do this again?

Not a note on Brock specifically, but the heavyweight division should gain some more clarity in the coming months. Big Nog and Frank Mir part 2 at UFC 119. Shaping up to be a really solid card. Cannot wait to see UFC live in a couple weeks.
