Many people (yes, I was one of them) warned in 2008 that Obama was clearly unqualified, on issues of foreign policy if for no other, to be President. Libya is perhaps the premier example of a Chief Executive who is completely without a clue. If you don't trust my judgment (only a fool would not!
), maybe you will pay attention to Les Gelb.
Gelb touches on some very troubling aspects of our Libyan clown dance, perhaps most tellingly how this makes the U.S. in general, and Obama in particular, look in the eyes of our worst enemies.
