Funny... my first Boxer would eat apricots till they came out of his ears....he especially enjoyed them after he learned to peel the fruits off the pits first. He also liked bananas....second boxer never ate fruit at all.

Really weird to see a big black dog jumping up and grabbing fruit out of a tree. Another weird dog thing is my dog as a kid liked walnuts. My Mom was a big baker and would buy a sack of walnuts that she kept in the garage. Penny would get into the bag, crack the walnuts and eat the meat. We never could get her to sweep up the shells. ;D

I planted mine late but they are starting to come in. My kids usually eat them during the day while I'm at work so I don't usually get too many.

We actually had coyotes coming into my neighbor's yard in the middle of the day to grab fruit from their fruit tree. It was bizzare to see them during the day. I took some pics to show my neighbor.

Not much in the way of coyotes here in the urban core, but my ex and I rented a house from a friend back in the early '80s and the birds went insane hitting his peach tree every morning. Got maybe 3 or 4 from it that year and then strung netting over the entire tree the next year. Damn good peaches. =Bob

We've lived in our house for 20 years and this year is the first year we've had rabbits all over the place. I've seen them in the area before but this year they're in the yard, pissing and pooping on the lawn (mostly front yard) causing brown spots. I've let the grass die in the back yard as I'm redoing things there and the cherry tomatoes are OK so far.

Guess your back lawn must look like my lawns now - beautiful California gold. =Bob
