Posted by aztecbombaye on Today at 7:12pm and he has the worst shot selction. EVER. very frustrating latelyPlease get the facts straight...Billy was the leading scorer against TCU (19) and tied for leading scorer against Utah (15) humm UT quote... "White likely will finish his SDSU career as the school’s all-time leader in starts and field-goal percentage." I'd say he must be doing something right.

I think Billy was pressing a bit tonight. Saying he has a low BB IQ is not correct.

Call me stupid but I think that BW will have one more big night in a big win. He is streaky like that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Billy has never played well in Las Vegas. Some guys just try to do too much in front of friends and family.

Billy loves the game and gives it his all. It is frustrating that he gets some unneeded fouls but if he plays with that passion and intensity, I am willing to live with the downside. This team over the last 4 years would not be anything like it is without Billy.

Mmm, could have sworn he had stepped up with some clutchness in previous games vs. UNLV, actually. He definitely never played so poorly down the stretch like he did tonight. Poor, poor timing. Seems like he needs to be a little more humble when the ball isn't swinging his way --- he's not among the top three players on the team --- and smarter when it does. There is a world of difference between him and Trimaine Davis when it comes to seniors who weren't the best but could contribute in other ways.

There is a world of difference between him and Trimaine Davis when it comes to seniors who weren't the best but could contribute in other ways. Just checked. At UNLV, Billy's numbers are: Freshman - 9 points, 6 rebounds, 4 TOs, 5 fouls in 27 minutes Sophomore - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 points, 4 rebounds Junior - 5 points, 3 rebounds, 5 fouls in 16 minutes and 7 points, 3 rebounds in 33 minutes Senior - 4 points, 3 rebounds, 5 TOs, 5 fouls in 29 minutes Averages over six games: 7.17 points, 4.33 rebounds and two DQs However, he did come up huge in the first two rounds of the MWC tournament last year.

Is this thread serious? Ripping on Billy. Dude wears his heart on his sleeve, plays through pain, gives us his all for 4 years, is a major part of the team, and has helped us win way more than has ever been the reason for our losses throughout his career. I could maybe understand if we were 1-25, but this is a complete lack of respect. Check yourselves.

The 4th foul (where Billy was running along the baseline and ran into a UNLV player) was complete, total and utter bull$#!+. Never should have gotten to foul number 5.

I guess then that we are getting ticky tacky about our guys. If we wanted to find an issue with each guy on the team, then we could. It's college basketball and it is different from the NBA because there is way more passion and yes, more mistakes made. When guys have no holes in their game, have the potential to eliminate the holes in their game, or have some insane skills that translate to the next level, then they go pro. In my opinion, Billy's fouls come from playing exceptionally hard and with a lot of passion. If we didn't have such a strong team, then it could hurt, but the same could be said for the weaknesses each player on the team has shown at some point in the season.
