Short and quick as the Oracle is focusing on the WC.
1. With the conferences re-aligning themselves, this is probably the best chance at SDSU getting into the BCS fray. If the Big-12 dissolves and SDSU is able to pick up the likes of MU and KU, SDSU is in the big bucks. Yes, this is still a long shot, but absorbing the remaining B12 schools is the best best for SDSU to improve its situation on multiple levels.
2. The down side of this is that there is a good chance that the MWC may be fleeced as well for its top schools to join the B12. With the schools leaving the B12, the powers that be may request that the B12 take the upper half of the MWC and leave to remaining half to rot like CUSA. The Oracle personally thinks that this possibility has a much better chance of transpiring than the remaining B12 schools being absorbed by the MWC.
At the end, there is a potential for SDSU to really make it big here, but knowing how TV contracts work and how these schools operate, the preference is to have the B12 take the upper crust of the MWC.

Wow, haven't heard this before. Where did you come up with this? Thanks Captain obvious.
