Many here know more about these things than I. Any chance we go after him?

depending on who USC chooses as their new HC there could be numerous Transfers or those coming in from HS
Also are there players that might follow thir former USC coach to SMU - who might be throwing around a good amount of money

They should (and they don't need me to tell them this) get ahold of him and offer the keys (and most importantly guaranteed playing time) as he is uber talented and if he was a stock would be rated a strong buy.
Total winner and very clutch, plays hard. Probably out of our league, but sell him hard on his friends and family being able to easily watch him play (he is from LA) and you never know.

We're not adding any more FR. We need to get older again.

Trent Perry is so good! We played Harvard Westlake 2x last season. We could stop just about anyone on their team other than one guy, and his name was Trent Perry. We doubled and tripled him, put multiple guys on him, played different defenses on him, etc. It did not matter. At one point, Trent had over 40 points and his time had just over 50. He is literally one of the best and most complete HS basketball players I have seen since Jason Kidd. We had literally no answer for him no matter what we did. I have never seen a player dismantle a team the way he did and make it seem effortless.
He is an absolutely great addition to UCLA.
I stood next to Big Shot Bob at the Hardward Westlake game (one of my favorite players) and we watched Trent just destroy Carlsbad. Bob had a kid on that team and I believe he PWO'd at UCLA, but he was not a fraction of Trent. In fact, I asked Bob why didn't he consider State. He looked at me dead serious and his response was "He isn't old enough for the Aztecs" but he was well aware of our team.
