SGF.......Let me clue you in. I know Yoda pretty well.
Yoda has many more inside contacts than you and knows much more about the situation than you do.
Sorry to report that to you......But...

So you're saying that Yoda has "inside contacts" about the possibility of SDSU and UNLV returning to the WAC, huh? Steve, there's a bridge for sale in Brooklyn with your name on it.

No........He is jerking your chain.....and you just got jerked (or maybe he didn't ). I am saying that Yoda knows at least twice as much as you do on what is happening.

I think you misinterpreted my point. I wasn't suggesting that you might be coming back. Our President had made a comment about people taking a lot of risk in all this and was ridiculed for it by one of our posters. I was suggesting a scenario wherein Boise could have taken some risk. It was intended to be an illustration, not a prediction or a strategy for anybody to follow. Read down a little further and you will find this clarification: Just for clarity, I didn't say that that was what happened. I was just using that as an example of the kind of risk that Welty could have been referring to. I haven't a clue what actually happened or what risk Welty was actually referring to -- although I think Dr. Bulldog may have a more plausible explanation than I did. And I am not suggesting -- as Welty didn't suggest -- that anybody, myself included, wouldn't have (or shouldn't have) taken the same risk. But that doesn't mean it wasn't risky anyway. Besides, we don't even know that Welty was referring to Boise State. Maybe he meant Missouri. Yoda out...

Why not add Kansas (this is the big prize, based on basketball), Mizzou, KSU, Baylor, Iowa St. and Fresno? BCS $ would help keep CSU football alive (and, no, I'm not referring to the school formerly known as Colorado A&M).

However, supposedly TCU is trying to blackball Baylor as payback for the Baylor power play that got them into the Big XII over TCU fifteen years ago. So maybe there is room for us both -- or maybe you stop at 14 and there is room for neither of us. Yoda out...

Or maybe just room for SDSU. We're already in. Who would trade San Diego for Ames, IA? I know our FB attendance has been down, but it will go up as we win.

Last week I saw you on the Kansas State message board bashing the Mountain West Conference and "advising" K-State fans that it would be wise for K-State not to come to the MWC. Now you are talking about Fresno State coming to the MWC. Make up your mind Yoda is the MWC a good conference or a bad conference?

Now you are talking about Fresno State coming to the MWC. Make up your mind Yoda is the MWC a good conference or a bad conference? I believe you are mistaken.. I don't believe that I bashed the MWC. Rather, I asked about the Big East vs. the MWC as a home for them. I thought it was much more likely that the 4 Big XII left behinds (now apparently five) were a much better fit in the BE than in the MWC. They have bigger television markets (television contracts) and existing AQ status. Further, since they were supposedly going to be losing schools to the Big X, I thought that they might be receptive to making the offer. So I inquired about their feelings on the subject. But just because I listed the advantages of one conference over another doesn't mean that I was bashing the other. And in any event, the relative disadvantages offered by the MWC to an AQ school in Kansas don't apply to a Non-AQ school on the Pacific Coast. So your logic trap doesn't really work. As for wanting to join the MWC, my position has been consistent for a long time -- I do not want to join the MWC unless and until Boise is invited. Once that happens, then I'm all in. I do not want to be left behind in a Boise-less WAC. I hadn't thought about it before but I guess I'm finally all in. Yoda out...

Nobody knows anything as far as what's happening. If 2 times 0 = 0, how could Yoda know twice as much? This is not a jab at anyone. I don't think anyone knows much of anything about what is going on. It is all a chain reaction to the first couple movements by Neb. and BSU. Nothing would surprise me but I could get shocked.

This thread title reminds me of Joe Walsh.
I went to see Joe Walsh (James Gang) in Houston in 1991. He came out for the show to the roar of the crowd. Before playing a chord he said...
-You want to hear a joke? Milli F**k**g Vanilli.........Everything you hear tonight on stage is REAL.

At least the Aztecs would have a choice. Not a bad thing. Beats being Wyoming.
