I know this seems like an odd thing to worry about so soon but how will all of this effect non-con schedules? As it stands now, won't all MWC teams be forced to drop at least one non-conference game for FB and 2 for BB?

Has it been determined that we'll play a full round-robin? That could cause problems, yet the fallout is not over. Adding Boise could only be our first shot. More teams probably will keep us at a manageable eight-game MWC slate.
Hoops is a non-issue because non-conf schedules are never completed until what seems like the last minute.

Sort of depends on how many teams are in the conference. Tell me that and I can figure out the options. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.

Everyone wanted a better home schedule. We could not afford or schedule a ranked team, but by adding Boise State we get a big time home game at a budget price.

all the talk today was that it'll be 9 conference games. I hope that is wrong. We need enough teams to have divisions and a MWC championship game. There just have to be more shoes to fall.

all the talk today was that it'll be 9 conference games. I believe the Pac 10 currently plays 8 conference games and they take turns skipping 1 team a year except for their rivalry games.

Nope Pac 10 play(ed) all nine confernce games up until last season, not sure what they will do now. Maybe they do that now with everyone playing 12 games. When teams usually played 11, 9 conference games means only 2 OOC games. And I always remember those teams playing 3 OOC games.

I'm pretty sure that the Pac-10 only dumped the skipped game when the schedule went to 12 games instead of 11. I could be wrong, but I'm too lazy to look it up since I'm watching the world cup.

I do remember that air force was against playing 9 conference games, because it would limit them to only 1 game that they were not obligated to play in. (9 conf games + army/navy)
