www.nbadraft.net/NBADraft.net was a site that wasn't very high on Kawhi before the season. They saw him as a late first rounder in the 2012 draft. He is also #20 on the mock draft over at Draft Express. Although these mock draft sites aren't always accurate, I think it is fair to say that this will be his last year at SDSU because I expect him to lead us far in the NCAA Tournament. Let's enjoy him while he's here.

Yeah, the top 14 picks are lottery picks. Also, on Chad Ford's Lottery Mock Draft, I tried it a couple times and every time, it came out with Kawhi Leonard going to the Memphis Grizzlies with the 14th pick. espn.go.com/nba/lottery2011/mockdraft

Kawhi needs another year. He's not ready. Not ready for what? To make $2m per year?

Kawhi needs another year. He's not ready. HAM None of us are ready to see him leave, if that is what you mean.

Kawhi needs another year. He's not ready. HAM Sarcasm? Barely any player is NBA ready when they enter the draft. Obviously, draft experts think that he is good enough to be a lottery pick. He's just as ready as most of the other players projected in the lottery. His game will develop a ton once he starts going through workouts for the draft, trust me. He is as ready as Al-Farouq Aminu was last year.

My Joc decoder ring says that if it ends in "HAM" there is either humor or sarcasm going on.

If he stays one more year he will be the #1 draft pick. I hope he has the right people telling him what to do!

As much as I'm gonna hate to see him go, I am going to be so happy for him on draft day.

I heard the other day on podcast with one of the ESPN NBA expets discussing certain factors that lead to success in the NBA (that teams don't always look at) and it was rebound rates. For those that think 'he needs one more year' I don't think you fully appricate that he can play in the NBA today and be an impact player off the bench. He won't be draining 3s but he can score and he will rebound. There was a sequence against CSU where he hit back to back jumpers of the dribble from about 16-17 feet. Those were NBA type shots.

What ever Stanford did to Andrew Luck we need to replicate to Kwahi. Well, to start, they spelled his name correctly.

if you are talking money NBA projects for rookies #1-$ 4.4 mil, #5 $2.9- ,#10 $1.9- ,#15 $1.5 - #20 #$1.1, -#25 .954 and #30 .877 first round is guaranteed not second so it depends if you believe what they are telling you where you rate and how badly they need someone in his position- (a -2 - 3 or 4) , A lot of games still to be played and family decisions- Lock out ? would coming back mean moving up the ladder, injury ? like the college scene ?

i dont get why people say hes not ready, wouldnt playing a year, or just practicing a year with a pro team get him more ready for the pro's than playing another year of college. ig u can make the argument that he wouldnt get much play time in a real game situation, but hell just being in the pro system and practicing and being around all of the best of the best imo would be the best way imo to elevate his game to the next level. he shouldnt be wasting his time playing at the college level again

What ever Stanford did to Andrew Luck we need to replicate to Kwahi. Have him come from a wealthy family, not need the money, and make arguably the worst decision of his life?

What exactly is a Lottery Pick... I thought a lottery pick was one of the top 4 players drafted. The show they do on ESPN with the ping-pong balls based on the record of the teams. So and so gets 5 balls, this team gets 4 balls, that team gets 3 balls...and a "lottery" is created based on that. Somewhere in this thread I read the top 14 are considered "lottery picks" Just wondering if Lottery Picks are Top 4 or Top 14 or...
