If the Big 12 goes the way of the Dodo Bird, won't the Holiday Bowl have to come to the MWC hat in hand?
The Cotton Bowl would also be looking for another conference. This could be good for our bowl situation which is beyond dismal right now.

Never underestimate the power the Smack-10 has in this town - too many of our power brokers are UC grads plus the HB remembers how bad some schools (CSU in particular) have traveled in the past when the WAC had the tie-in. =Bob |

If everything falls right, I think you could see a mwc 12-14 with a fiesta bowl anchor, alamo bowl and holliday bowl, but we'll have to see if everything falls perfectly

Not really because the PAC 16 is already saying they deserve two BCS bids since there is no more Big 12.
