Although the refs are letting the players play this year, I wonder if Thomas has the strength to take it to the rim. No question he has the quickness for a big man, but he's not built for power.
Billy White is, but unfortunately that's not his game. If he's forced to change at this time of the season, he'd probably foul out in every game. JMO.

He needs a shorter memory. Stop thinking of the last play and make his next play better. Malcolm is a sensitive kid with a big heart. Sometimes he wears that on his sleeve--which makes him a better person. He lets a mistake wear on him for too long. A bad non-call by officials when he gets hammered inside, and he stays angry for awhile. If he misses a shot or turns the ball over, he hangs his head for a minute. This loss was definitely not his fault. It was a team defeat. The accountants at Price-Waterhouse are still adding up the longballs from Jimmer. He will be credited for another nine points against us at the start of the Wyoming game. Fredette beat us on out-of-his-mind shooting. Malcolm Thomas is a winner--on and off the court!

Unselfish players usually blame themselves after losses.
I like that, that means they care.

What a pleasure it is to root for this kid and for this team. They might be 20-1, but the thing I appreciate more than anything else is how the share in everything, even the blame. This team will go down as the all-time "heart."

Our team and our Coach are everything I could ask for as a fan. I am behind them 100 % and I can't wait to share their success the rest of the season.
