He may or may not have responded in a smartass way intentionally. I won't pretend to know. But I do think his response exposes a valuable point to consider Philip. Regardless of what you meant, how you say things matters. If you want to get your point across accurately pay attention to how the way you say things affects the reader. For what it is worth, I've been reading your posts for probably a couple of years now and I still interpreted your above post like Bill did. Has to be leaving? That is not necessarily true. One of the 14 will not be on athletic (basketball) scholarship next year. That doesn't mean they have to leave. There are other ways. you know what I meant, please don't try to be a smarta** |

Oops. One Mars spacecraft hurtling past Jupiter. Be precise and you don't have to rely on smartasses to interpt what you write.
I didn't think you meant anything other than what you wrote. But even if you did, you may have misled others so what I wrote was worthwhile. |

I think the best thing of all of this is the twitter quote by MT suggesting he is lifting and getting jacked for next season and has the goal of MWC POY as a goal. If we have more penetration next year by the guards, MT could have a huge year. If he adds 10 lbs of muscle, develops a consistent 12-15 ft jumper and raises his Ft % slightly ... he should easily go 15pts and 10rbs next year.
And if someone does lose a scholarship, I hope it's not Alec Williams. I still think the kid has great potential to do good things for as a junior and senior and he will be one of the few remaining F/PF's left on the roster after next year.
