Ryan Lindley's beard has its own rock star status. Jack Bauer fears RL's beard. Almost as much as he fears THE BEARD. (Go Giants!)

I've not had any contact with KL, so it would be unfair for me to comment on him. I have observed and had contact with Ryan and can tell you he is really an outstanding young guy who is humble, courteous, a fan of others on campus and an absolute "Aztec for Life." Alone or with a few friends/teammates he attends almost every womens basketball game to cheer on his fellow Aztecs. He's just a real person and does not seem to have the attitude to project a the "rock star" demeanor or image. I think this is not a case of the individual, but rather the popularity of the sport he plays. Basketball is hands down bigger than football at SDSU. WORD!

I live in Greek circle. I think they were party hopping, as it was a Thursday night after the season was over, and they recognized me from the fact that I attend every game, front row student section, and met them in Vegas. They took time to screw around, chase on one team and kawhi on the other. I along with all of my friends playing greatly appreciated it. That's what makes college sports so great, accessibility!

I think a better comparison would be Ronnie Hillman vs Leonard...

This is and always will be FB school. Like its surrounding city, this is a WINNING school. If you win, they will come. I don't think there is a "Rock Star" on the team - they are ALL stars. The most important piece is that we don't have any prima donnas...

I love how Walton talks about being humble and then someone starts a rock star thread

This year, not overall. This is and always will be FB school. Been a hoops school for the past 6 years, and arguably since the 1st NCAA appearance in '01-'02.

By the way, Hugh - you'll need to update your signature to "Jimmer - Yeah... he shoots from there." to "Jimmer - Yeah... He shoots from 10 feet closer in than DJ."
