I am pretty sure he is working on Chow as well. We could certainly offer him 500k for three years. Latest Seattle rumor says Petey is interested in Chow for OC as he has fired Jeremy Bates!

Thought Ferrigno was staying with Rocky, Sounds like a NO! Interesting. I thought his ties to Long were stronger than with Hoke. So it looks like we only have 4 coaches at this point. Long White Sipe McDaniels

Receivers/co-recruiting coordinator: Jeff Hecklinski; joined Hoke in 2004 at Ball State. Tight ends/special teams: Dan Ferrigno; a Pac-10 veteran, also worked at Western (1982-1986). Running backs: Fred Jackson; he will be entering his 20th season on Michigan's staff. Linebackers: Mark Smith; has been on Hoke's staff since 2003 at Ball State. Strength: Aaron Wellman; has worked for Hoke since 2004. Worked at MSU 2001-03. Open: Defensive coordinator, defensive backs, defensive line. From The Detroit News: detnews.com/article/20110118/SPORTS0201/101180328/Michigan-coach-Brady-Hoke-still-looking-for-defensive-assistants#ixzz1BQC3fB3xBolded is incorrect. You are only allowed 8 assistants. So their DC will end up being a position coach as well (or Hoke coaches the DL as well).

I wonder if that is new? I remember going through this same thing when Hoke was hired and saw somewhere that it was 8 coaches.
