didn't have a chance to think about anything.. and as I opened my eyes I said to myself... "Man, I'm glad we won that bowl game."
It was the complete opposite of how I felt 4 days after we lost to Missouri.
The pain of that game has been washed away by a great bowl game victory. I am not taking it for granted.

No doubt that win pumped some new life in the program.
Fans on the streets are still talking about it.

Wayno, if my day were based on the two aformentioned videos, I say go back to bed and try getting up on the other side.
Really, it is hard to believe that our bowl victory came one week ago. Seems like yesterday.

Plenty of recognition on the east coast from it too. I wear Aztec gear regularly and have been approched a number of times since then. Oddly, because of the Raid/flood side story, it called a lot of attention to the game. I wonder what the Cable Viewer share was and curious how it matched against the NFL game on the NFL network.

I woke up this mornin with a wineglass in my hand..... Okay, sorry for the Frampton reference, I have worn at least one piece of Aztec gear everyday since th bowl game and I get someone coming up to be who wants to talk about Aztec football which always leads to Aztec basketball talk too. There is a buzz and it is exciting.

Okay, sorry for the Frampton reference, I have worn at least one piece of Aztec gear everyday since th bowl game and I get someone coming up to be who wants to talk about Aztec football which always leads to Aztec basketball talk too. There is a buzz and it is exciting. I am finding that the pac-fudge conference fans are the worst losers around. None have given a congratulations for the win, and in fact yesterday, to avoid embarrassment, a Cal fan removed his Cal shirt after seeing me with my four day old "SAN DIEGO STATE" basketball shirt, as we started a pickup basketball game in Costa Mesa. It is absolutely unbelievable about the immediate jealousy of the pac-fudge, fucal, uSucal etc fans over the big win for the Aztecs and the humongous notoriety. Another reminder of your over-blown pac-twelve conference: poor losers...and often, ta-boot. HAM

It has been just great riding the wave off excitement that a great football season/bowl game can bring. And then there's that under current that only a long suffering Aztec fan can feel, and that is that the bubble could burst. If we could just get positive word that this coaching staff will stay intact, and keep the momentum going w/ this nice crop of young talent waiting to be exploited, That would be a great relief!
